Established in1993 Volkswind has since become one of the leading Independent Power Producers (IPP) in Europe.
Its core business relies on planning, developing, constructing and operating wind farms.

Volkswind has built over 60 wind farms with wind turbines from Siemens, Enercon, Vestas, GE, Gamesa and
Fuhrländer. A further 4.000 MW are under development.

With subsidiaries and projects in Germany, France, the UK, Poland, Bulgaria and the USA the company concentrates
on growth markets.

Volkswind has received an independent "A" Rating for its financial stability and business model through
Euler Hermes (Allianz Group).
